COCHIN - MUNNAR - THEKKADY - ALLEPPEY - COCHIN (5N/6D)

DAY 1: COCHIN
Arrival at Cochin Airport/Railway Station. Meet and greet by our representative. Transfer to Hotel and check-in to the Hotel. Later Stroll around the streets of Kochi and get acclimatized to Gods own country by your own. Afternoon proceed for a short sightseeing tour of Cochin. Overnight stay in Cochin.

DAY 2: COCHIN-MUNNAR (3.30 hrs – 150 kms)
After breakfast transfer to Munnar. En route enjoy the scenic beauty of Tea plantations. Check-in to the Hotel. Later if time permits proceed for a short sightseeing tour of Munnar. Overnight stay in Munnar.

DAY 3: MUNNAR
After Breakfast proceed for a full day sightseeing tour covering Echo-point, Eravikulam National Park, Tea museum, Flower nursery, Mattuppetty Dam, Kundala Dam etc… Evening back to Hotel. Overnight stay in Munnar.

DAY 4: MUNNAR-THEKKADY (3 hrs – 115 kms)
After breakfast,  check  out  of  the  hotel.  Transfer  to  Thekkady-  one  of  the picturesque  highways of  south  India. Enroute  enjoy  the  beauty  of  Cardamom plantation and forest.  Arrive at Thekkady, check into the hotel. Later proceed to visit Periyar River, Kumily etc…. Evening back to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

DAY 5: THEKKADY -ALLEPPEY ( 4 hours – 160 kms)
After Breakfast, check out of the hotel. Transfer to Alleppey. Check-in to the House Boat. Later proceed for a Cruise through the Back waters and enjoy the beauty of Paddy fields and Back waters. Lunch, Dinner and overnight stay in the House boat.

DAY 6 : ALLEPPEY - COCHIN (1 hour – 60 kms)
After Breakfast, check out of the hotel. Transfer to Trivandrum/cochin for departure back to home with beautiful memories.

IMPORTANT POINTS TO REMEMBER
»  Arrival transfer will be done on private basis
»  Vehicle will not be provided on Day 1 except Airport/Railway station transfer
»  Departure transfer on last day would be at 1200 hrs to airport and railway station.
»  Group tour is staring only on Day 02.
»  Seat allocation will be done by PGH and preference would be given to elderly, kids and women.
»  Once seat allocation is made it will remain same till the end of the tour.
»  All expenses apart from the tour package inclusions will have to be settled directly with respective vendors.
»  There would be no refund given by PGH for laxity in service standards by our vendors. A duly signed written complaint acknowledged by the vendors management has to be received in original on their letter head with their seal , signature and submitted to PGH the same day.
»  All rooms are on twin sharing basis, extra beds will be provided for additional cost.
»  Based on the group strength transport size would vary.
»  We have indicated the main hotels that we work with , however in case of non availability alternative hotels would be provided
» Houseboat used for this tour will be on sharing basis with common dining room and lobby
»  As it’s a shared package tour ,in order to facilitate everyone’s convenience some of the
service timings have been fixed as – First wakeup call: 0630 hrs, Second wakeup call:
0700 hrs, Baggage Down: 0745 hrs, Breakfast timings: 0800 hrs, Check out time: 0900 hrs, Onward Departure: 0930 hrs.
» As it is a group tour baggage space is limited and each paying pax is allowed 15 kg of luggage to be carried in the luggage compartment.
»  A hand baggage of not more than the size of a small duffel bag can be carried weighing not more than 5 kg.
»  You will be asked to present this for securing rooms at the hotel, so don’t forget to carry
the original Driving license / Voters ID/Passport and few photocopies of the same.
»  Any troublesome client found would be off loaded and no refund will be given.
» Anyone found littering would be warned once and if the act is repeated, he /she shall be off loaded and no refund will be given.
» Anyone found trying to smoke or drink inside the coach would be off loaded and no refund will be given.
»  No one is allowed to enter the coach in an inebriated state.
You are not allowed to eat inside the coach; however you are allowed to take feeds for infants and children below 5 years


Terms and Conditions

HOTELS:-
»  Standard time of check in 12:00 noon and check out 11:00 am
»  If the above given Hotels are sold out while the time of booking similar hotels will be provided
»  Children’s between6-12 are chargeable and above 12 yrs are considered as adults
»  Hotels used in hill stations like Munnar and Thekkady will be without A/c
»  Depending upon the hotels and group size meals will be served as Buffet/ Alacarte
»  Items used from the mini bar in rooms and expense made by guest other than included should be paid extra to the hotel before check out
»  Any damages made by guest in hotels will collected from the guest as per actual

HOUSE BOAT
»  Check in time 12 noon- Check out time 9:AM
»  Houseboat used for this tour will be on sharing basis with common dining room and lobby
»  Houseboats are just for a cruising experience and the facilities cannot be compared as a hotel.
»  House boats are accompanied by Captain , chef and crew
»  Cruise ends by 6:00 at first day and boat will be anchored near to the bank of the lake.
»  Cruise will be resumed in the morning in 9:AM
»  In deluxe House boat A/C will be working in evening 9:PM TO Morning 9 AM
 

TRANSPORTATION
»  Arrival transfer will be on private basis
»  Vehicle will not be provided on Day 1 except Airport/Railway station transfer and a short time cochin city tour will be arranged on Day 1 or Day 6
»  Departure transfer on last day will be at 1200 hrs to Airport and Railway station(Early departing guests need to take transfer on private basis with extra cost as per actual)
»  Vehicles can be arranged to the guests if needed for private use which is not mentioned
in the program with an extra charge as per actual
»  No smoking or alchahol consumption is allowed in the coach
»  The waiting time of coach will be limited in each sightseeing destination and the guest should follow the time limit given by the t
»  Seat allocation will be done by PGH and preference would be given to elderly, kids and women.
»  Once seat allocation is made it will remain same till the end of the tour our leader to cover maximum places
»  Child below 5 yrs should share the seat of parents and no individual seats can be allotted
»  Additional kilometers used by the client which exceeds the blocked kilometer will be charged extra per kilometer
»  If any hike in Fuel charges there will be increase in transportation cost
» All sightseeing places mentioned in the itinerary will covered depending on the time availability & climatic conditions
»  Air conditioning will be non operational when climbing uphill regions.
»  In case of breakdown to vehicle on the way, replacement vehicle(s) would be sent in shortest possible time


AMENDMENTS & FORCE MAJEURE
»  Changes to your tour package after your acceptance, are done purely subject to availability, flexibility of vendors.
»  Very infrequently, small changes may be made to your travel arrangements which we reserve the right to do so at any time, and we will advise you at the earliest possible date if it becomes unavoidable. These changes may be the result of Force Majeure or other similar reasons that are beyond our control, such as weather conditions, delays in departures, hartals, strikes or riots, over bookings or closure of a hotel, decisions taken by Governments bodies, VIP movements, etc.

PAYMENT POLICIES
»  50%  of tour amount at the time of confirmation and remaining 50% 7 days
prior to guest arrival

CANCELLATION POLICIES
»  2 days prior will be 100% of the advance payment
»  7 days prior will be 50% of the advance payment
»  15 days prior will 0%
»  Bank charges should be levied.
