Arrival, Afternoon half day city tour of Udaipur visiting City
Palace, Jagdish Temple Sahelion-Ki-Bari, Lake round of Fateh
Sagar, Folk Museum and enjoy boating in Lake Picchola.

City Palace :
An enormous edifice, 30.4 mtrs. high and 224 mtrs. in
length. It is Built by Maharana Udai Singh (1537-1572).
Completely white and majestic, the City Palace stands on a hill
surrounded by crenellated walls. Its main entrance is through
the triplearched gate, the Tripolia, built in 1725. There is
Suraj Gokhada, the Balcony of the Sun, where the Suryavanshi
Maharanas of Mewar presented themselves in time of trouble to
the people to restore their confidence.
Sahelion-ki-bari :
Built by Maharana Sangram Singh Ji
1710(Foundation) & 1734(Complete)This garden of the maids of
honour, brings to the fore the unique life-style of the royal
ladies who once strolled in these gardens. Flower linked parks
stands on the shore of the second major lake of Udaipur- Fateh
Sagar. The Garden of the Maids of Honour was constructed for
forty-eight young ladies in waiting who were sent to the royal
house as a part of the lavish dowry.
Jagdish Temple :
Dedicated to Lord Vishnu, this temple was built
in 1651 A.D. by Maharana Jagat Singh 1. Reached by a steep
staircase flanked by stone elephants, the external walls and the
plinth are covered with bas-reliefs-friezes of alligators,
elephants, horsemen and celestial musicians.

Jaipur by visiting to Amer Fort, City Palace, Jantar Mantar,
Hawa Mahal, Amer Palace and Albert Hall Museum.

City Palace : The city palace is a historic landmark. The
carved arches are supported by grey-white marble columns studded
with floral motifs in gold and coloured stones. Two elephants
carved in marble guard the entrance, where retainers whose
families have served generations of rulers are at hand to serve
as guides. The palaces interior houses a Museum containing
select collection of various types of Rajasthani dresses, a
fascinating armoury of Mughal and Rajput weapons; swords of all
shapes and sizes, with chased handles, some of them inlaid,
enameled, encrusted with jewels and encased in bold and
magnificent scabbards.
Hawa Mahal : Built by the poet-king Sawai Pratap Singh,
the Hawa Mahal is the most strikingly designed monument in
Jaipur. What is seen from the Sireh Deorhi Bazaar is the multi-niched
five storey high backside of the complex. It was conceived to
provide adequate vantage position behind delicate stone-carved
jail screens to the palace women for watching the royal
processions passing through the bazaar below

In morning drive from Jaipur to Agra (245 km. / 7 hr. drive)
enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri the deserted red sandstone city
that was built by Emperor Akbar as his capital and the palace in
the 16th century. Also visit the Bulund Darwaza the largest
gateway in the world.

Taj-Mahal
: The mausoleum of the Empress Mumtaz, the beloved spouse of
Shah Jahan, who died in 1630. The Taj complex comprises of the
forecourt, a lofty entrance and a charming formal Mughal Garden
with canals and the central tank with a series of fountains, the
tomb proper and as attached mosque on the west and its
symmetrical counterpart on the east. The Taj is remarkable for
its perfect proportions and rich pieta dura, with minute details
executed with great skill. The building, often styled "A Dream
in Marble" is also said to have taken atleast 22 years
(1631-1653).
